Welcome

The Nursery School is open 38 weeks a year, term time only. We offer pre-school sessions 
9.00 am – 3.00 pm Monday to Friday.

The Howard Nursery School sited in the grounds of the Howard of Effingham School aims to  provide the best possible learning environment for children aged 18 months – 5 years old.

Base rooms are bright, warm and welcoming and have been designed to provide an environment ensuring the principal areas of learning are accessible to all our children. In addition, we have a secure enclosed outdoor learning area. 

The Nursery School is open Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.  We offer morning and/or afternoon sessions.  Parents are asked to provide a healthy morning snack and a packed lunch if their child stays for lunch.

Pre-school morning session
9.00 am – 12 noon

Lunch club
12 noon – 1.00 pm

Pre-school afternoon session
1.00 pm – 3.00 pm
